History

Organizada pela FIFA desde 2000, a Copa do Mundo de Clubes substituiu a antiga Copa Intercontinental, que confrontava apenas os campeões europeus e sul-americanos. O Real Madrid é o clube mais vitorioso na história da competição, com múltiplos títulos ao longo dos anos. O Barcelona, o Bayern de Munique, o Flamengo e o Al Hilal também figuram entre os participantes mais destacados da competição. A partir de 2025, a FIFA expandiu o formato do torneio para 32 clubes, realizando a competição nos Estados Unidos com uma nova estrutura de grupos e mata-mata.
