EFL League Two

The EFL League Two is the fourth division of the English football league system. It brings together 24 clubs competing for promotion to the third division and consolidation in the competition.

History

A EFL League Two foi estabelecida em 1992 como quarta divisão da pirâmide inglesa de futebol. Anteriormente conhecida como Fourth Division, a competição passou por reformatação com a criação da Premier League em 1992. Desde então, funciona como quarta divisão e representa importante nível competitivo no futebol inglês, sendo acesso para clubes menores e formadores de novos talentos.
