Álvaro Morata
Álvaro Borja Morata Martín was born on October 23, 1992, in Madrid and became one of the most prolific Spanish center-forwards of his generation, with stints at Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, Atlético de Madrid, and AC Milan. Skillful in the box, with good heading ability and capacity to create plays, Morata always knew how to position himself well and be efficient in front of goal. Formed in Real Madrid's youth categories, he made his debut for the merengue club and soon attracted the attention of Turin's Juventus, where he gained strength and won the Italian Serie A. His return to Real Madrid coincided with winning the Champions League in 2017, a tournament in which he scored decisive goals. His high level led him to Chelsea for a record transfer for a Spaniard at the time. For the Spanish National Team, Morata was a central figure in several campaigns. At Euro 2024, he was captain and leader of the team that won the European title for the fourth time, being one of the protagonists of the campaign. Throughout his career, he accumulated more than 35 goals for the national team. His trajectory is marked by ups and downs — fluctuations in performance and intense media pressure — but also by impressive achievements in Italy, Spain, England, and in European competitions with his national team.
