Andrade

Andrade was a Brazilian midfielder who stood out as captain of Palmeiras in the transition from the 1990s to the 2000s, a period of great success for the club under the command of coach Luiz Felipe Scolari. As a field leader, Andrade was a fundamental piece in winning the 1999 Copa Libertadores and the 1999 Copa do Brasil, forming a striking midfield partnership alongside Alex. After leaving Palmeiras, he had a stint at Fluminense, where he also played a leadership role, ending his career as one of the names remembered by Palmeiras fans of the winning generation of 1999.
