Andrés Escobar

Andrés Escobar was one of the greatest defenders in Colombia's history, an elegant defender and captain of the national team. Tragically assassinated after the 1994 World Cup, after scoring an own goal that eliminated Colombia, becoming a martyr of Colombian football.
