Antonio Valencia
Antonio Valencia is one of the greatest icons of Ecuadorian football, having stood out as a right-back and right winger throughout more than a decade at Manchester United. He started his career at El Nacional, played for Villarreal and Wigan Athletic before becoming an undisputed starter for Manchester United between 2009 and 2019, a period in which he became captain of the English club. For Ecuador's national team, Valencia is one of the players with the most matches played in the team's history, having represented the country in multiple editions of the Copa América and the World Cup.
