Arturo Vidal
Arturo Vidal, nicknamed 'El Rey Arturo', is considered one of the greatest players in Chilean history. Born on May 22, 1987 in San Joaquín, Santiago, the midfielder stood out for his intensity, fighting spirit and ability to influence matches on both sides of the field, being equally effective in defense and attack. His European career was built at some of the world's greatest clubs. At Juventus, he was instrumental in winning four consecutive Scudetti between 2011 and 2015. At Bayern Munich, he accumulated three more Bundesligas. At Barcelona, he shared the midfield with Messi and won La Liga in 2019. At Inter Milan, he helped the club end the Scudetto drought in 2021. With the Chilean national team, Vidal participated in three World Cups (2010, 2014 and 2018) and was champion of the Copa America in 2015 and 2016, Chile's only continental achievements. He ended his career in Brazil, playing for Flamengo and Athletico Paranaense. With 147 matches and 37 goals for the Chilean national team, Arturo Vidal retired as an icon of South American football, recognized worldwide for his leadership, talent and winning mentality.
