Bento Matheus Krepski was born in Curitiba on June 10, 1999 and joined Athletico Paranaense's youth categories in 2009, at the age of ten, going through all stages of the club's youth development. He was promoted to the main squad in 2020 and made his professional debut on November 25 of that year, in a 1-1 draw with River Plate, in the Copa Libertadores. He became Athletico's absolute starting goalkeeper from 2022 onwards, accumulating 164 matches for the club until his departure, a period in which he was part of the squad that won the 2021 Copa Sudamericana and the 2022 Recopa Sudamericana. In July 2024, he was transferred to Al-Nassr, from Saudi Arabia, in a transfer valued at approximately 18 million euros, starting to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. He made his debut for the Brazilian National Team on March 23, 2024, in the 1-0 victory over England at Wembley, a friendly match that also marked the debut of coach Dorival Júnior.
