Beth Mead
Beth Mead is an English striker who became one of the main offensive references in European women's football playing for Arsenal. Discovered at Sunderland, she stood out for her speed and quality in crosses and finishes. Her main career achievement was winning the 2022 Women's Euros, held in England, a tournament in which she was the top scorer with six goals and was elected the best player of the competition, as well as winning the Golden Boot award. A serious knee injury at the end of 2022 kept her out of the 2023 Women's World Cup, but Mead returned to the pitch remaining an important player for Arsenal and the English national team.
