Bruno Henrique was born in Belo Horizonte and started his career late, playing for clubs in the interior of Minas Gerais and Goiás before gaining national projection with Goiás in Serie A. In 2016 he was signed by Wolfsburg, from Germany, and in 2017 he returned to Brazil to play for Santos. In 2019 he joined Flamengo and formed with Gabigol one of the most decisive attacking duos in recent Brazilian football. That year, the club won the Copa Libertadores and the Brazilian Championship, and Bruno Henrique was elected Best Player of the Brasileirão by the CBF. At Flamengo, he accumulated titles of Copa Libertadores (2019, 2022 and 2025), Brazilian Championship (2019, 2020 and 2025), Copa do Brasil (2022 and 2024), Recopa Sudamericana and Supercopa do Brasil, as well as several Carioca Championships. For the Brazilian National Team, he was called up in 2019.
