Carlos Bilardo

Carlos Bilardo was an Argentine midfielder who played for Estudiantes de La Plata in the historic Copa Libertadores championship team in the late 1960s. He became world renowned, however, as a coach of the Argentine national team, leading Diego Maradona and company to the World Cup title in 1986 in Mexico.
