Christian Vieri

Christian Vieri was one of the most feared center-forwards in world football in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Born in Bologna and raised in Australia for part of his childhood due to his father Roberto Vieri's (former footballer) influence, he returned to Italy to build one of the most prolific careers in calcio. His imposing physique, ability to finish with both feet, and aerial dominance made him a predator inside the box. Throughout his career, Vieri played for an impressive list of Italian and European clubs, with his stint at Internazionale Milan being the most memorable, where he became an idol and a historic top scorer. For the Italian national team, he stood out at the 1998 FIFA World Cup, where he was the Squadra Azzurra's top scorer with 5 goals, and at Euro 2000, when Italy reached the final. After retiring from the pitch, he became a public figure and television presenter in Italy.
