Beasley

DaMarcus Beasley was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 24, 1982, and began his professional career at Chicago Fire in the MLS, where he stood out as a quick and skillful winger. He transferred to PSV Eindhoven in 2004 and later played for Rangers in Scotland and clubs in Germany and Mexico, before ending his career at Houston Dynamo in the MLS. Over the years, he also began to play as a left back. For the United States national team, he played 126 matches and scored 17 goals, and featured in four World Cups: 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014, a rare achievement for a North American player. His longevity and versatility made Beasley one of the most respected figures in United States football.
