Denis Law is considered one of the greatest Scottish players of all time and one of the absolute legends of Manchester United. Winner of the 1964 Ballon d'Or, Law was a complete striker, endowed with extraordinary technical ability, finishing power and natural leadership on the pitch. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1940, Denis Law started his career at Huddersfield Town before transferring to Manchester City. After a stint in Italy at Torino, he returned to England to become one of the greatest idols in the entire history of Manchester United, the club where he spent the greatest and most glorious part of his career. At Manchester United, Law formed one of the most feared trios in the history of European football alongside George Best and Bobby Charlton. Together, they won the European Cup in 1968 and revolutionized British football. Law scored 237 goals in 404 games for United, remaining one of the club's greatest goalscorers to this day. For the Scottish national team, Denis Law accumulated 55 caps and 30 goals, being a reference for leadership and talent for decades. His elegance and efficiency in front of goal made him one of the most complete and admired players of the 1960s era.
