Alfredo Di Stéfano is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in football history. The Blond Arrow dominated Europe in the 1950s with Real Madrid, winning five consecutive European Cups (1956–1960). A prolific scorer, playmaker, and possessing unparalleled physical and technical ability, he is the great predecessor of Messi and Ronaldo. He passed away on July 7, 2014.
