Diego Tardelli

Diego Tardelli is a Brazilian striker known for his irreverence both on and off the pitch, with remarkable spells at Brazilian clubs and in Chinese football. Discovered at Ipatinga, he gained national prominence after transfers to major clubs in Brazilian football. His most successful period came at Atlético Mineiro, the club through which he won the Copa Libertadores in 2013, being one of the protagonists of the historic campaign of the Minas Gerais club. He also had a long and successful spell in Chinese football, playing for Shandong Luneng, where he became one of the most beloved foreign players at the club. He ended his career after spells at São Paulo, Grêmio and a return to Atlético Mineiro.
