Dorval
Dorval Rodrigues was one of the greatest right wingers in Brazilian football history, a key piece of Santos' legendary attack in the 1950s and 1960s, which formed with Mengálvio, Coutinho, Pelé and Pepe the most famous offensive line in club football worldwide. Discovered by Internacional de Santa Maria and promoted at Grêmio, he joined Santos in 1957 and remained at the club for more than a decade, winning two Intercontinental Cups, two Copa Libertadores titles and several Brazilian and São Paulo state championships. A swift dribbler and accurate crosser, Dorval was responsible for opening up defenses on the right flank and supplying Pelé and Coutinho. He also wore the Brazilian National Team shirt in the 1960s. After leaving Santos, he still played for other clubs before retiring, remaining in the memory of Santos fans as a member of the greatest team in the club's history.
