Dragan Stojković
Dragan Stojković, immortalized by the nickname 'Piksi', is considered the greatest player in the history of Yugoslav football and one of Serbia's greatest players. An attacking midfielder with exceptional technique, superb game vision and precise dribbling, Stojković was the maestro who enchanted generations of fans across Europe and Asia. His club career included notable spells at Estrela Vermelha de Belgrado, where he helped the club win national titles, as well as stints at Olympique de Marseille, Hellas Verona and a remarkable period in Japan with Nagoya Grampus Eight, where he became a J-League legend over seven years. For the Yugoslav national team, he participated in the World Cups of 1990 and 1998, being one of the tournament's standout performers in both editions. After ending his illustrious playing career, he became a successful international coach, managing the Serbia national team and later the Japan national team, which he led to the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
