Éder

Éder was a left-footed Brazilian striker, famous for his powerful shot and long-range goals, considered one of the most spectacular players of his generation. He developed through Minas Gerais youth football before standing out at Atlético Mineiro. His most memorable moment came at the 1982 World Cup in Spain, where he scored a spectacular indirect free-kick goal against Scotland, considered one of the most beautiful goals in World Cup history. That Brazilian team, with Zico, Sócrates and Falcão, is remembered as one of the most talented teams never to win the world title.
