Emerson Palmieri

Born in Santos, Brazil, but of Italian descent, Emerson Palmieri built his career in Europe and chose to represent the Italian national team, becoming a regular starter at left-back and left winger at top clubs such as Roma and Chelsea. Developed in Palmeiras' youth categories and later in Italy at Santa Croce, he gained attention while playing for Roma, where he established himself as a professional. In 2018 he transferred to Chelsea, where he won major titles. With the Italian national team, he was a key player in winning Euro 2020, played in 2021, contributing to the team's defensive solidity under the leadership of Roberto Mancini.
