Fabinho

Fabio Henrique Tavares, widely known as Fabinho, is one of the most complete defensive midfielders of his generation. With the ability to intercept plays, cover spaces and initiate transitions with precise passes, the Brazilian born in São João da Boa Vista established himself as a key player in Europe's biggest clubs. Forged in Fluminense's youth categories and loaned to Rio Ave (Portugal) for experience, Fabinho was signed by Monaco, where he became one of the best midfielders in Ligue 1. His arrival at Liverpool under Jürgen Klopp in 2018 was a turning point: in the early days he needed adaptation, but quickly became the heart of the team, praised by analysts as the world's best midfielder in certain periods. At Liverpool, he won historic titles: the UEFA Champions League 2018-19, the Premier League 2019-20 (ending 30 years of waiting), the FA Cup and the League Cup 2021-22. His ability to play as a center-back in emergencies demonstrated his exceptional versatility. In 2023 he transferred to Al-Ittihad, Saudi Arabia. For the Brazilian National Team, Fabinho was champion of Copa América 2019 and played in Copa América 2021, accumulating more than 60 call-ups. He is considered one of the greatest Brazilian midfielders of the modern era, an example of dedication and tactical intelligence.
