Félix
Félix was the starting goalkeeper for the Brazilian national team that won the 1970 World Cup in Mexico, considered by many to be the greatest team in football history. A native of São Paulo, he began his career in São Paulo football, playing for Portuguesa de Desportos, before transferring to Fluminense, the club where he lived his best years and became an idol. At the Rio de Janeiro club, he won important state titles and defended the goal throughout the 1970s. In the national team, he played in all matches of the 1970 world championship campaign, playing behind a legendary offensive line with Pelé, Jairzinho, Tostão, Gérson and Rivellino. Félix passed away on August 24, 2012, in São Paulo, recognized as one of the historical figures of Brazilian football.
