Fermín López
Born in El Campillo, in the province of Huelva, Fermín López started playing football at his hometown club before passing through Recreativo and Real Betis' youth academy categories. In 2016, he moved to FC Barcelona's cantera, where he excelled in the youth categories, winning the Liga and Champions Cup double with the U-19 team in the 2021-22 season. In 2022, he signed his first professional contract with Barcelona Atlètic and was immediately loaned to Linares Deportivo in the Primera Federación, where he drew attention by scoring 12 goals in 37 matches. His strong performance earned him a place in Barcelona's first team starting in the 2023-24 season, quickly becoming one of Europe's most promising young talents, playing as an attacking midfielder or winger. In 2024, he made his debut for the Spanish national team, being part of the Euro 2024 championship squad, still as a bench option, and won gold at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, finishing as the tournament's second-highest scorer with 6 goals. With Barcelona, he has already won multiple titles in La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.
