Fernandinho is one of the best defensive midfielders in the history of Brazilian football, being a fundamental piece in Pep Guardiola's Manchester City for nine seasons. Recognized for tactical intelligence, leadership and ball recovery ability, he was City captain and one of the most respected players in the Premier League. With the Brazilian national team, he participated in World Cups and was Olympic runner-up in 2012.
