Fernando Gago

Fernando Gago started his professional career at Boca Juniors in 2004, quickly standing out as one of the most talented midfielders of the new Argentine generation. In 2007, he was signed by Real Madrid, where he won two La Liga titles, as well as the Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey. He also played for Roma and Valencia during his time in European football. He returned to Argentina to wear the Boca Juniors shirt again and, in the final stretch of his career, played for Vélez Sarsfield, the club where he retired in 2020. For the Argentine national team, he played in the final of the 2014 World Cup.
