Filippo Inzaghi

Filippo Inzaghi, nicknamed SuperPippo, is considered one of the greatest strikers in the history of Italian and European football. Born in Piacenza in 1973, Inzaghi became famous for his almost supernatural ability to be in the right place at the right time, transforming minimal opportunities into decisive goals. His career at Juventus and, especially, at AC Milan established him as an icon of European football. With Milan, Inzaghi won two Champions League titles, being the absolute hero of the 2007 final against Liverpool, held in Athens, when he scored both goals in the 2-1 victory. For the Italian National Team, he was a World Cup champion in 2006 in Germany. With 57 matches and 25 goals for Italy, Inzaghi left his mark on the biggest stages of world football. After ending his playing career in 2012, he continued in football as a coach, managing various Italian clubs.
