Florian Wirtz

Florian Wirtz is considered one of the greatest football talents to emerge in the 2000s, standing out for his creative play, field vision, and ability to score and create goals with a consistency rare for his age. Born on May 3, 2003 in Pulheim, Germany, the midfielder-forward was revealed by Bayer Leverkusen, where he set several precocity records in the Bundesliga. Wirtz became the youngest player to score in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen and over the following seasons established himself as the main creator of the Rhine team. His 2023-24 season was historic: he was part of the Leverkusen team that won the Bundesliga unbeaten, the only time in the history of the German championship, plus the DFB-Pokal title that same year. In the German national team, he became a central midfielder and participated in Euro 2024, held on German soil. In 2025, he transferred to Liverpool in one of the biggest transfers in European football history, beginning a new chapter in the English Premier League.
