Gavi

Gavi

Gavi is considered one of the greatest talents to emerge in world football in the 2020s. Born on February 5, 2004, in Los Palacios y Villafranca, in Andalusia, the midfielder revealed himself at the famous La Masia, FC Barcelona's youth academy, and made his debut with the professional team at just 17 years old, impressing the world with an extraordinary technical level for his age. In his first complete season with Barcelona, Gavi became an absolute starter for the team, standing out for his game vision, courage to receive the ball under pressure, game volume, and ability to lead the team with maturity far beyond his age. In 2021, at 17 years old, he won the Golden Boy Award, given to the best young player in Europe, becoming the youngest winner in the award's history. For the Spanish National Team, Gavi was part of the group that won Euro 2024, a tournament in which Spain was the most dominant team and the player one of the most influential of the competition. With his playing style that recalls the legendary golden generation of Spain from the 2008, 2010, and 2012 titles, Gavi is pointed out by experts as the heir to Xavi and Iniesta's legacy in the Spanish national team. Despite his young age, Gavi has already accumulated dozens of matches for the Spanish National Team and is projected as one of the most dominant players of his generation until at least 2035, when he will still be only 31 years old.
