Gerald Asamoah

Gerald Asamoah was the first black player to score a goal for the German national team, becoming a symbol of integration in German football. Born in Ghana, he became a German citizen and had a solid career mainly with Schalke 04. He overcame a serious heart disease to continue playing, becoming an inspiration to many.
