Gerard Pique

Gerard Pique is a Spanish center-back who came through Barcelona's youth academy, later developed at Manchester United before returning to the Catalan club to become one of the greatest defenders of his generation. A World Cup winner with Spain in 2010 and European champion in 2012, Pique formed one of the most solid defensive partnerships in European football during the 2010s alongside Carles Puyol and later Javier Mascherano. At Barcelona, he won virtually every possible title, including multiple Champions League titles, La Liga championships and Copa del Rey trophies, retiring in 2022 as one of the most decorated players in the club's history.
