Giorgos Samaras

Giorgos Samaras was a physically imposing Greek striker who played mainly for Celtic in Scotland, where he became an idol. He was famous for his penalty goal in extra time that qualified Greece to the round of 16 of the 2014 World Cup against Ivory Coast. He also played for Manchester City early in his career.
