Giovanni was a talented Brazilian striker who shone for Santos and mainly for Barcelona in the late 1990s. Highlighted by his dribbling skills and accurate finishing, he was part of the Barcelona squad that suffered setbacks in the Champions League, but enchanted in La Liga. He represented the Brazilian national team in important moments.
