Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is the greatest footballer in Armenia's history and one of the most complete midfielders of his generation. Born in Yerevan in 1989, son of former footballer Hamlet Mkhitaryan, the Armenian built a prominent career in the best European championships, playing for Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Arsenal and AS Roma. A historic goal scorer and the player with the most assists in the Armenian national team, Mkhitaryan is synonymous with refined technique, tactical intelligence and the ability to show up in decisive moments. At Borussia Dortmund, he was named the best player in the Bundesliga in the 2015-16 season. At Manchester United, he won the UEFA Europa League in 2017.
