Hugo Ekitike
Born in Reims, France, Hugo Ekitike stood out as a teenager for Stade de Reims, where he caught the attention of major European clubs for his physical frame and goal-scoring instinct. In 2022, he was signed by Paris Saint-Germain for a fee considered high for such a young player, but he struggled to gain space in the star-studded attack of the Parisian club, returning on loan to Stade de Reims the following season. In 2024, he transferred to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he had the best season of his career, being one of the Bundesliga's top scorers and once again catching the attention of European football. His performance in Germany resulted in his signing by Liverpool in 2025, one of the most talked-about deals of that year's English transfer window. For the French national team, Ekitike went through the youth categories before being called up to the senior squad, being seen as one of the great future hopes of France's attack.
