Hugo Sotil
Hugo Sotil was a Peruvian striker considered one of the greatest players in Peruvian football history, known by the nickname 'Cholo' and for his successful spell at FC Barcelona. Alongside Johan Cruyff, he formed a standout attacking duo at Barcelona in the 1970s, a period when the Catalan club won the Spanish League Championship after 14 years without a title. For the Peruvian national team, he was a key player in winning the Copa América in 1975 and played in the 1970 World Cup in Mexico, alongside Teófilo Cubillas.
