Ian Rush

Ian Rush is the greatest goal scorer in Liverpool's history and one of the greatest British centre-forwards of all time, having dominated English football during the 1980s. Formed at Chester City, he joined Liverpool in 1980 and quickly became an essential piece of the attack, forming a historic partnership with Kenny Dalglish. He spent a brief season at Juventus, in Italy, before returning to the club that made him famous. With Liverpool, he won five English titles, three League Cups, three FA Cups and one European Cup, in addition to finishing his time at the club as the club's all-time leading goal scorer, with 346 goals in all competitions. For the Wales national team, he was for many years the nation's all-time leading goal scorer, with 28 goals.
