Igor Thiago
Igor Thiago Nascimento Rodrigues was born in Gama, in the Federal District, and had a childhood marked by financial hardship, working as a bricklayer and in markets before establishing himself in football. He began his career at Gremio Ocidental, a local club, before heading to Europe. He stood out in Bulgarian football at Ludogorets and later at Club Brugge, from Belgium, where he caught the attention of English clubs with his goal-scoring prowess. In 2024, he was signed by Brentford for a club record transfer fee. After recovering from a meniscus injury, he became the team's top striker in the Premier League, establishing himself as a reference in English football and renewing a long-term contract with the club in 2026.
