With Arsenal, he won the FA Cup in 2014 and 2015 and the Community Shield in the same years. In 2011, he was elected Young Player of the Year by the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA). His career was marked by injuries, mainly ankle problems, that kept him away from the field for long periods.
