Zizinho Rei

Zizinho was one of the greatest Brazilian players before the Pelé era, considered by many historians as the best player in the world in the 1940s and early 1950s. He played in the 1950 World Cup for Brazil, being the top scorer of the national team in the competition held in Brazilian soil, which ended with the tragic defeat against Uruguay at the Maracanã. He played mainly for Flamengo and Bangu, being revered as one of the greatest technical references of Brazilian football of his time.
