Laurie Cunningham

Laurie Cunningham was one of the first black players to represent the English national team and became a historical figure when playing for Real Madrid in the 1980s. Possessed of extraordinary technical skill and elegance with the ball, he was well ahead of his time. He tragically died in a car accident in 1989.
