Leandro Damião

Leandro Damião was one of the most promising center-forwards in Brazilian football in the early 2010s, being the top scorer of the 2011 Copa América with 4 goals and leading Brazil to the title. Tall, strong and with good technique, his play stood out for his ability to play with his back to goal and for efficient finishing inside the box. Despite the great prominence at the time, his career in European football did not have the expected brilliance, with a spell at Real Sociedad in Spain without establishing himself as a starter. He returned to Brazil where he continued playing for clubs such as Santos and Athletico-PR.
