Leandro Paredes

Leandro Paredes started his professional career in Argentina after training in Boca Juniors' youth categories, before transferring to Italy, where he played for Chievo Verona, Empoli and AS Roma, gaining experience as an organizing midfielder. After a successful spell at Zenit Saint Petersburg in Russia, the midfielder transferred to Paris Saint-Germain in 2019, where he won several French Championship titles and established himself as a key player for the Argentine national team under Lionel Scaloni's command. A member of the squad that won the Copa America in 2021 and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022, Paredes returned to AS Roma in 2023 before returning to Boca Juniors, the club that revealed him, in 2024.
