Levi Colwill
Levi Lamar Samuels Colwill was born on February 26, 2003, in Southampton, England, and developed through Chelsea's youth academy. A left-footed center-back with excellent ball-playing abilities, he can also play as a left-back, characteristics that made him a valuable piece in the club's defensive system. To gain experience in professional football, he was loaned to Huddersfield Town in the 2021-22 season and subsequently to Brighton & Hove Albion in 2022-23, where he had strong performances in the Premier League. Back at Chelsea, he made his official debut on August 13, 2023, in a home draw against Liverpool, and quickly established himself as a starter in defense. He scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the final match of the 2024-25 season, securing the club's place in the Champions League. Colwill made his debut for the England national team on September 7, 2024, against Ireland. In 2025, he won the Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea, but an anterior cruciate ligament injury to his knee, suffered in August of that year during training after the World Cup, kept him off the pitch for much of the 2025-26 season.
