Luís Fabiano

Luís Fabiano Clemente was born on November 8, 1980 in Campinas, São Paulo, and would become one of the most lethal center-forwards in Brazilian and European football of his generation. Endowed with physical power, speed and excellent finishing, he was a typical striker who terrified defenses in any championship. His career in Europe reached its peak at Sevilla FC, a Spanish club for which he played from 2005 to 2011, scoring over 80 goals in the Spanish League and becoming one of the most beloved players among Seville fans. He helped the club win the UEFA Cup in 2006 and 2007, in addition to being the top scorer in several seasons. For the Brazilian National Team, Luís Fabiano was a protagonist in the 2009 Confederations Cup, where he became the tournament's top scorer with five goals and won the Golden Ball of the competition. He played in the 2010 World Cup and contributed important goals in the Brazilian campaign. In total, he scored 29 goals in 46 matches for the national team. After his spell in Europe, he returned to São Paulo FC and ended his career playing for other Brazilian clubs, leaving a legacy of goals and beautiful memories for fans in Brazil and Spain.
