Luis Guilherme

Born in Aracaju, Sergipe, Luis Guilherme joined Palmeiras' youth academy at 11 years old and progressed rapidly through the club, making his professional debut in April 2023, at age 17. A left-footed winger with speed and dribbling skills, he was a regular fixture in the squad that won the Brazilian Championship that year. In April 2024, he scored his first professional goal, a stunning strike at 51 minutes of the second half that secured Palmeiras' victory over Independiente del Valle in the Copa Libertadores. A few months later, in June 2024, he was signed by West Ham United from the English Premier League for approximately 23 million euros plus bonuses, signing a five-year contract. After just over a year and a half in England, he was transferred to Sporting CP in Portugal in January 2026, signing a contract until 2030 with a release clause set at 80 million euros. He has not yet been called up to the Brazilian national team.
