Luis Suárez

Luis Suárez Miramontes was a Spanish midfielder considered one of the greatest players in the history of Spanish football, and to this day the only Spaniard to win the Ballon d'Or. Discovered by Deportivo La Coruña, he transferred to Barcelona, where he became a key player for the team in the 1950s and early 1960s, being named the best player in Europe in 1960. In 1961, he transferred to Inter Milan, where he formed a decisive midfield partnership under the command of Helenio Herrera, winning two European Cups and Italian titles. For the Spanish national team, he was champion of Euro 1964, played on Spanish soil, consolidating his legacy as one of the greatest names in European football of his generation.
