Luizão
Luizão was a Brazilian striker known for his physical strength and goal-scoring instinct, discovered by Botafogo and highlighted mainly by his time at Palmeiras, where he was one of the team's top scorers in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He also played for São Paulo, Santos, Vasco da Gama, Corinthians and foreign clubs, such as Al-Ittihad from Saudi Arabia, as well as having played for Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan, ending his career in the early 2010s. He was called up to the Brazilian National Team that won the five-time World Cup championship at the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan, acting as a reserve for the starting offensive trio formed by Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho Gaúcho.
