Manga

Manga was one of the most charismatic and talented goalkeepers in Brazilian football during the 1960s and 1970s. He started his career at Náutico in Pernambuco, later moving to Botafogo, where he established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the country. He also achieved great success in Colombian football, defending clubs such as América de Cali and Deportivo Cali, becoming one of the most remembered Brazilians in that country's football history. Known for his extroverted personality and striking character on and off the field, he participated in the 1966 World Cup for the Brazilian national team.
