Marcelo Brozovic

Marcelo Brozovic is a Croatian midfielder born in Zagreb, recognized as one of the best defensive midfielders of his generation. Formed at Dinamo Zagreb, he transferred in 2015 to Inter Milan, the club for which he played for almost a decade as an absolute starter in midfield. At Inter, Brozovic consolidated himself as a key tactical piece, acting as the pivot of midfield in systems with three center-backs. He was Italian champion in 2020-21, ending a long drought for the Nerazzurri club. In 2023, he transferred to Al-Nassr, from Saudi Arabia. For the Croatian national team, he was a starter in Croatia's runner-up campaign at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and in the third-place finish at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, being one of the main references of Croatian football alongside Luka Modric.
