Marcelo Grohe

Marcelo Grohe is a Brazilian goalkeeper born in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, developed by Grêmio, the club through which he became one of the greatest idols at his position in recent history. Formed in Grêmio's youth categories, Grohe assumed the team's starting position from 2011 onwards and remained the team's defensive reference for more than a decade, being a key player in the club's achievements during that period. After ending his long spell with Grêmio in 2021, Grohe had a stint at Fluminense, ending his career as one of the most successful goalkeepers in Rio Grande do Sul football.
